Scientific Profile & Research Agenda

I received my Diplom from Stuttgart University by simulation of traffic with high-level Petri-Nets. I received my Dr.-Ing. from the Berlin-Brandenburg Graduate School for Distributed Information Systems by analysis of information value with Bayesian Networks. I am currently working on a new ontology (representation & processing) for managing quality in the emerging shared knowledge space of the information society.

Research Focus:
  1. User and Information Quality Dimensions & Metrics
  2. User Type Classification and Detection
  3. Bayesian Co-Evaluation for User and Content Quality
Please follow the link to the Collaborative Systems Group. We are searching for motivated students at all levels (Senior, Master, Phd) for enlarging our research group.
